Bill & Ted’s bodacious Blu-ray boxart revealed
This fall, two of San Dimas’s brightest minds are making their most triumphant arrival into high definition. Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan are bringing their first motion picture, the cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, to Blu-ray on November 13.
No word on their second adventure, Bogus Journey getting the Blu-ray treatment, but this is a good start.
Amazon already has the boxart up, and I’m overall very impressed — aside from George Carlin’s creepy floating head. What do you guys think?
007 returns in Skyfall. New international trailer
After a summer of superheroes, I am more than ready for a fall filled with Bond. James Bond. For I am a 007 fanatic beyond words. I love the characters, the action, the suspense, and the score all the same.
After production delays galore, Bond’s latest resurrection dubbed Skyfall will finally release in just a couple months. From what I can tell, this will be another exciting entry in the franchise. Fancy gadgets, like a finger-print detecting gun? Check. A creepy foreign foe with a bad dye-job? Check. Dame Judi Dench being her usual badass self? Check.
Anyone else excited for this fall’s new Bond? Sound off below. And check out the new international trailer above.

The Dark Knight Rises — Trailer #3
Batman returns this summer, and it’s going to kick ass.
Ninja Turtles live-action/ CGi hybrid movie arriving holiday 2013
My favorite foursome of ninja crime-fighters will be returning to the big screen next holiday. It’s been confirmed by Paramount that a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is slated to release Christmas 2013.
The film will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles), produced by Michael Bay’s production company Platinum Dunes, and will be a hybrid of both live-action and CGi. I love the original ’90s trilogy of live-action turtles movies, as well as the CGi flick that released in 2007. The idea of a hybrid sounds like the best of both worlds, and I can’t wait.
It seems that the Ninja Turtles franchise is back on track after its recent acquisition from by Nickelodeon, who will also be releasing a brand-new redesigned cartoon in the coming months. I’m expecting a similar art style to that of the cartoon and that of the movie.
“Super” 3D glasses coming to theaters for The Avengers
If you’re planning on checking out The Avengers in 3D when it releases this May, you’ll have an option to forget about those drab over-sized 3D rental glasses. Marvel is releasing a set of sleek 3D glasses, each pair inspired by the iconic warddrobe of select superheroes featured in the film.
As pictured to the left, frames and lenses include designs inspired by Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man — I’m choosing one of the latter two!
These frames will be available at nearly all 3D movie theaters, for just $5 each, in conjunction with the film’s May 4 release.
