Interested in one of those lengthy 5K runs, but don’t think you’ll keep the motivation needed to finish? What if dead-eyed flesh-eating zombies were on your tail? That’s exactly what’s going down at the “Run For Your Lives” 5K.

Next month outside of Baltimore, Maryland, participants will run through a wooded obstacle course, filled with the undead. For around $70 (with a portion of proceeds going to the American Red Cross), runners will receive a t-shirt, a racing bib, a free beer, and a special medal — only if they make it out alive of course. Once you’re all done, an Apocalypse party will celebrate your resilience, featuring tons of bands, food, and vendors.

Aside from tons of local sponsors, Richard and Sal from The Howard Stern Show are scheduled to appear. The run is scheduled for October 22, just in time for Halloween!
