This fall, Sega is releasing a second entry in Sonic’s racing series, with Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The game may seem like a typical racing sequel, however this time vehicles can transform into hovercrafts or jet-planes — Diddy Kong Racing, anyone?

Take a look at the new Comic Con trailer above. The game will release November 20 for Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo 3DS.

We’ve got a way to go before Sega releases the next episode of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, set to release later this year. Until then, Sega has some new screenshots to hold us over, posted on the Xbox Live Marketplace website. My favorite of the bunch is the above pic, showing our speedy blue friend and his dual-tailed companion racing down a snowy alp. While I’m excited for the diversity of the new levels, visually this game just seems to be a few steps ahead of the first episode.

Whether you love old Sonic, new Sonic, or no Sonic, this trailer is going to interest you. I’m hardly the biggest Sonic fan, citing his last 20 years as evidence alone, yet I’m absolutely stocked at what Sonic Generations is bringing to consoles later this years.

Retro Sonic and new Sonic come together in this new game, the perfect title to celebrate 20 years of hedgehog. Take a look at the new official E3 trailer above.

Sonic Generations is set to release on Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo 3DS later this year. All three versions are 3D capable.

After rumors ran wild, we now know that SEGA is readying Sonic Generations for release on the Nintendo 3DS. We only had confirmation of an Xbox 360 and PS3 release, but thanks to Nintendo Power’s latest cover story, Sonic is returning in both chubby and svelte form on Nintendo’s handheld.

Extremely fitting that a game that brings back a lot of what gamers loved about the original Sonic titles would make its way to a Nintendo handheld, given Sonic’s history. Can’t wait to play this game, and in 3D no less!

Sega’s new FPS sequel Conduit 2 just launched on the Wii this week. After months of delays, we finally get the much anticipated title which features a much improved online mode, with more features than you can shake a stick at. Plus, let’s face it. There’s not many other games on Wii coming any time soon, so let’s support the quality ones that do, ey?

To celebrate Sonic’s 20-year history, team Sega is pleasing fans both young and old with their newest software creations, Sonic Generations. The game combines both chubby, 90s Sonic and green-eyed skinny Sonic, giving players the choice between either mascot. The levels will also feature familiar locales in both 2D and 3D.

Want to see the game in action? Check out the first gameplay footage above! Looks like Sega is really aiming to please everyone.

Thursday mornings are always good for tongue twisters. Sega has announced a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog game as promised via their Sonic dedicated Facebook page. As the celebration of 20-years of Sonic goodness kicks off, so does a teaser trailer for the newest console adventure game.

To spoil it for you, it features the next-gen, green-eyed, slimmer Sonic we’ve known for a while now, running along aside his chubbier, black eyed, retro self. Does this mean a world of two Sonics? Does this mean we have a choice of which version to play as? Too many questions!

So far, we know it appears to be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check out the full trailer here.
