Snowy screenshots from Sonic 4: Episode 2 emerge
We’ve got a way to go before Sega releases the next episode of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, set to release later this year. Until then, Sega has some new screenshots to hold us over, posted on the Xbox Live Marketplace website. My favorite of the bunch is the above pic, showing our speedy blue friend and his dual-tailed companion racing down a snowy alp. While I’m excited for the diversity of the new levels, visually this game just seems to be a few steps ahead of the first episode.

New BurgerTime finally hitting WiiWare tomorrow
Have your daily gaming sessions lacked some burger building action? I have some news you can relish in! MonkeyPaw Games has announced that BurgerTime World Tour is finally set to arrive on your Wii consoles tomorrow.
This new WiiWare gem takes your love of the old school NES version of BurgerTime and turns up the heat. There’s a new look and new enemies, but the biggest difference is the new environment structure, transforming from a simplistic 2D playing field into a 3D burger-shape maze of scaffolding.
“BurgerTime is a maturation of the arcade classic,” said John Greiner, president of MonkeyPaw Games. “The new platforming elements evolve the action into a faster and more challenging experience. We’re excited for a new generation of players to try out the game and get a taste of retro evolution.”
The game will be available tomorrow for 1000 Wii Points.

Nintendo Download — November 24, 2011: Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! By now you’re probably in your family room, filled with family members high on tryptophan, sitting in Lazy-Boy recliners, drinking a beer and watching football. But not me! I always found that laid-back feeling synonymous with Thanksgiving to be the perfect mood for some gaming. If your family is incredibly boring as described, some handheld gaming can spice up the night.

Mouth-watering BurgerTime World Tour get a launch trailer
One of my earliest childhood memories was playing BurgerTime on my NES with my dad. Oh,.. sorry. That was the end of the story. You expected more? Hmm… well this is awkward.
MonkeyPaw is bringing a brand new BurgerTime to consoles with this week’s release of BurgerTime World Tour. The game continues the tradition of controlling chef Peter Pepper, who has to walk along scaffolding filled with the essential burger building components. While avoiding enemies like sausage links who are set on ending your life, chef Pepper must quickly build his burgers by walking over each burger ingredient, which subsequently fall below resulting in a perfectly crafted burger. It sounds confusing, and unsanitary, but it’s actually a shit load of fun.
