Website “StrikeGently.com” seized by government

Ruh-roh! Looks like someone went and pissed off the government.

The Federal government — through the I.C.E.  Homeland Security Investigations division– has been on a spree taking down sites that host streaming movies or TV programs, and this morning they’ve taken down another big one. StrikeGently.com previously featured music, television programs, and films — some of which consisted of DVD rips, shaky-cam bootlegs and screener copies. Instead of being greeted with a download link for the latest Hollywood blockbuster, visitors today were greeted with a warning sign, courtesy of the U.S. government.

What an epic disappointment. I’ll miss my daily visits to SG, but at least I still have my t-shirt. #FreeSG! Oh wait, we’re not on Twitter. Anywho, don’t be surprised if your favorite websites, or torrents, start getting hit in the next few months. One down, thousands to go…

UPDATE: As of right now, SG is back up and running. Formatting is a little different, but it’s still got all the movies, videos and nudity you know and love.
